Wilmington’s 36th Annual Grand Gala : A Grand Celebration

The Grand Opera House presents their annually celebrated Grand Gala this year on December 1st. They will honor the Men and Women of Our Military for their service and dedication to our country. This year’s Gala performers will be Pink Martini. This 13 member ‘little orchestra’ draws inspiration from music from all over the world and crossing genres of classical, jazz, and old-fashioned pop, Pink Martini brings you a performance infused with an energy and excitement.
Bandleader Thomas Lauderdale with lead singer China Forbes, founded Pink Martini in 1994. Crossing a variety of genres – ranging from old-fashioned pop to jazz – Pink Martini brings a unique balance of world class music with a modern twist to the stage.
Following events at The Grand, will be our celebrated after-party at the Hotel DuPont, featuring live music by Pink Martini, dancing, and an array of gourmet fare in six different rooms.
